Biography

From 1973 to 1997 he worked at the Institute of Cybernetics. V.M. Glushkova NAS of Ukraine, from engineer to senior researcher at the Department of Digital Automata Theory. In 1989 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and in 1997 doctors of physical and mathematical sciences, both in the specialty 01.05.03 – mathematical and software of computers and systems. Since 1997 Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Software Systems of NASU, since 2001 Professor of TTP.

About 100 scientific and educational works have been published. The main scientific results of Professor A.Y. Doroshenko is involved in the development of theory and methods of parallel programming and design of effective software for multiprocessor computer systems. He proposed and developed an algebrodynamic approach to the description and implementation of macroconveyor parallel computing, which combines the tools of algebra of algorithms and the theory of discrete dynamical systems to define the operational semantics of parallelism at the algorithmic, program and coordination levels. parallelism that affect the performance of parallel computing, as well as to allow effective dynamic parallelization of programs using of intelligent software for parallel computing.

Prof. A.Y. Doroshenko is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Programming Problems magazine, a member of the program committee of several international scientific conferences: the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Programming (UkrPROG), Parallel Computing Technologies (PaCT) and Information Systems, Technologies and Applications (ISTA).
